A Hollywood stuntman(Gosling) moonlights as a getaway driver in Los Angeles’ criminal underworld.  Having fallen in love with a beautiful neighbor (Mulligan), he agrees to help her ex-con husband and becomes embroiled in a heist gone terribly wrong.
